Legacy is a homeschool co-op designed to offer homeschool enrichment electives to parents who are homeschooling in the state of Washington under the Home-Based Instruction law, RCW 28A.200.010, thus providing parents the latitude to supplement their homeschool curriculum. Because we are a co-op, all parents are required to:

• Fulfill an assigned job, and be available to provide additional assistance if needed.

• Remain within Legacy boundaries the entire time your children are at Legacy.
• Pay tuition for classes on time.
• Submit a copy of the declaration of intent to homeschool by 9/23/10 for each child in your family aged 8 and older who is attending Legacy.

Parents are welcome and are highly encouraged to attend classes with their children.

Meeting Time and Location

We meet Thursdays, September through June  (see our schedule for specific dates), at Overlake Christian Church, located at 9900 Willows Rd. NE, Redmond, WA.

Mission Statement

In order to further equip parents, who are ultimately accountable for the instruction and training of their children, the mission of Legacy Homeschool Center is to establish a Christian homeschool cooperative that would endeavor:

For parents: To provide academic instruction, which would enhance their effort as they fully accept the biblical responsibility to “train up a child in the way he should go.”  (Proverbs 22:6)

For children:  To provide excellent academic instruction from a Biblical Christian worldview. To inspire a love for learning. To equip them to think clearly, concisely, and critically with character reflecting that of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 8:1b)
