REGISTRATION
Before you register, please be aware that all parents at Legacy must agree to the following:

To Register for 2012-2013:
- Please thoroughly read LEGACY POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS to determine whether Legacy is a good fit for your family.
- Determine whether your children are being homeschooled according to the Home-Based Instruction law, RCW 28A.200.010. For more information, please visit the WHO web site at www.washhomeschool.org.
- Contact the facilitator for each class you are interested in to see if there is an opening. Facilitator contact information is available by email at info@legacyhc.org or at the information table in the front lobby. If there is no opening, you may request to be put on a waiting list.
- If there is an opening, provide two nonrefundable checks for each class (one for materials, postdated for June 15, 2012, and one for first month's tuition, postdated for September 6, 2012). Checks are made payable to the teacher and given to the facilitator. Your checks secure your student’s enrollment in class. Any unsecured spots will be offered to students on the waiting list. You may not be confirmed in a class and remain on the waiting list for a different class during the same hour.
- After successfully placing your student in classes by contacting the facilitators, complete and sign the Registration Contract (available for download). The contract, which must be filled out completely, includes an agreement to abide by the Legacy Policies which must be signed by you and by any children born prior to May 31, 2000. Make a photocopy of the contract for your records.
- Write a check for $145.00, made payable to Legacy Homeschool Center, to cover the registration / building use fee. This fee is nonrefundable / nontransferable.
- Make a photocopy of the registration contract for your records.
- Turn in your completed Registration Contract and $145 nonrefundable family registration / building use fee at Legacy to finalize your registration.
- Provide a copy of your Declaration of Intent to homeschool to the Front Desk on or before September 20, 2012.
NOTE: Registration will be closed for the summer (June 8 - August 30).
Registered Families: Important Dates
May 17 |
All families pick up their individualized Family Schedule and a copy of the Class Facilitator List at Legacy.
Facilitator Training: If you are assigned to facilitate a class, you must attend this training. To add or drop class(es) on or after May 18, 2012, please contact the appropriate class facilitator(s).

May 24 |
Payment Due (all families): Provide two nonrefundable checks, payable to the teacher, to the designated facilitator. Materials fee checks should be postdated for June 15, 2012. Your checks secure your student’s enrollment in class. Any unsecured spots as of May 25, 2012, will be offered to students on the waiting list.
